The wedding was beautiful yesterday. It was an evening wedding and then the reception was in Branson afterwards. It was fun. It was Joshua’s first wedding, so he had a really good time.
Today we are going to church and then we will come home and start cleaning house. I also need to get the laundry done and ready to go for the first week of school.
Karl’s parents are going out of town today, so they are bringing their dog Snoopy over for us to watch. He is a dachshund. He is really easy to take care of and he loves to sleep with Josh at night. Mandy sleeps with me.
Wow!! How about Michael Phelps? We got home just in time last night to see that USA won the relay and he got his 8th medal. I am so happy for him.

We had the pre-school decorated on Thursday, but we went shopping yesterday and bought new goodies for the classroom. We got jungle themed cuties for the walls, mostly circle time, so our calendar is jungle themed, we have a big giraffe growth chart, monkey bulletin board where the bananas say the kids name and the board says Top Bananas, toucan hanging from the ceiling saying “You Can Too”…among other things. It is adorable in there and we moved all of the centers around and the kid tables too. It looks totally different than it ever has. I love it, I get bored with how the classroom is layed out, so we had fun with it this year. It took us all day to get it decorated because everything was new and had to be laminated, etc…so I actually came home last night and ate dinner…Karl and Joshua then went to a baseball game, then I went back down to the pre-school and did some lesson plans and got things more organized. I think we are ready to go now for next week. We are going to work some more next Friday afternoon on things.
This evening is the wedding I had talked about once before. Our nephew Brandon is getting married. That is Karl’s oldest sister’s oldest son. The wedding is a 5PM and then the reception. I need to catch up on some of my tv shows today before we go to that. Have a great day!!

Well today is the day. I go back to work. We are meeting at our classrooms this morning to work a few hours and then eat lunch at noon, then we have a meeting the rest of the day. I am excited. I want to change my classroom around and get it all set up. I am excited to decorate the windows and door too. Tomorrow (Friday) we will just be in our classrooms, so we can finish getting the room ready and get some lesson plans ready to go. I have tons of paperwork to do too. Joshua will be home this afternoon also, I am excited to see him. I miss him. Well, I better get going. Have a great rest of the week. I will try to be by Saturday to visit.

Joshua is at my parents house. he decided to stay 2 nights, so he will be back home after I get off work on Thursday afternoon.
I was able to get my seasonal pages decorated for Fall yesterday, so I can just add things as they come in this fall. I was thinking about decorating a page here at my blog for fall today, we shall see.
This is my last day of Summer vacation. I cannot believe it went by so fast. My kids will be back in the classroom on Monday, I will be in meetings and getting my classroom ready this week. Joshua starts school Monday also.

Well, I got the house cleaned some more, I just need to clean the floors..sweep and mop and I will be done. We even got Mandy’s bath given to her yesterday, so that is taken care of. I had to brush and brush her. Corgi’s shed so much hair and I was trying to get as much as I could. I even took a lint brush to her. She looks shiny and pretty now. My mil said she used to vacuum the hair off Linda Mae.
Today my parents are coming to get Joshua for a visit. I am not sure if he is staying 1 or 2 nights, we shall see. I will be by to visit blogs when my parents leave. I am also thinking about decorating my seasonal pages for fall. If I do not do it now, it will not get done. I never did get my pages done for Summer. Have a great day!!!

We went shopping Friday night and got our clothes for the wedding this Saturday. Then we watched Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics. We spent most of the weekend watching the Olympics. They have been really good.
I started cleaning house last night, but didn’t get much done. I need to do some more cleaning today. Joshua is at a theme park today (Silver Dollar City) with mil and his cousins. He is going to my parent’s house tomorrow, so he will not be around much this week. I start work on Thursday.
Mandy is asleep at my feet. I need to give her a bath. Do not let her know that, she will hide from me. I will probably save the bath for tomorrow. I need to clean house today.

I got my phone calls made yesterday, just some stuff I needed to take care of and get out of the way. I also got the laundry done, and cleaned Joshua’s closet a little. Today I will rest again and we may go shopping later this afternoon, but I am not sure about that. We need to get Joshua a new outfit to wear next weekend. Our nephew (Karl’s oldest sister’s son) is getting married next Saturday, so we need to get some new clothes to wear for the wedding. We also still need to pick up some school supplies and some groceries too. We may wait until Sunday to go shopping too. I am not sure.
The Olympics start today!!! 8/8/08!! Ya know, next year my birthday will fall on 9/9/09, I should plan a big party! LOL!! Anyway, we will be watching the Olympics and tape Monk and Psych tonight. We watched Burn Notice and I watched a pre-season football game last night…the KC Chiefs. Joshua watched America’s Got Talent.
