It has been a great week at the pre-school. I have gotten a lot done with the kids and the kids have been wonderful. They really needed the Thanksgiving break I think. They came back fresh and ready to go. I have been working on their progress reports that will be going home later in December, and I almost have them all done. so I can always change things if they learn anything new, but at this point, they are probably going to be accurate. We are doing transportation this week, so we took a train ride and a space ship ride too at circle time. They loved it. I did too, I love to play, I cannot believe they pay me to play with kids. They are learning a lot too, they just do not know it.
The weather here has been crazy. It has actually been warm this week. I have had on short sleeves. Well the cold front has moved through and we are expecting snow now. We shall see how much we get. They are also saying we will have ice, which always scares me, I do not like ice storms. I worry the electricity will go off and we will be cold. I made a breakfast casserole, so I just need to cook it whenever we will be home for snow and I also have chili cooking. I just want to have hot food for us to eat.
I did get to walk with my friend Tina Monday and Tuesday, so we got a few days of walking in before the bad weather came.

I got the winzip issue figured out, it was the security on my computer set too high and it wasn’t letting me upzip any graphics, but I have it fixed now. We also have the computer all set up now and the other computer is gone. It is nice and clean again in here. I am loving this computer. I am working on webpages as fast as I can, but I do not have a lot of time. I did get my website decorated and my Winter pages done. I am going to work on geting Winter and Christmas pages updated tonight.
I have been walking with my friends. We walk 2 miles. It is supposed to ice and snow later this week, I am not sure if we will be able to walk in that…or will even want to. We are going to try and get all of our walking in early in the week.
I just wanted to jump on here real quick and let you all know that I got the winzip issue figured out and to say hi. Have a nice week.

I am liking my new computer, but I cannot get Winzip to work. I have Windows XP, and it is not unzipping the images…so if you send me cards or anything in Zip files, they are not unzipping, if I buy a collection, which I did, I cannot unzip the images. Does anyone have any advice? I would apreciate any tips. You can leave them here or e-mail me at kljray@centurytel.net . I am still moving software from my old computer, the new one did not even have software for me to write on my graphics (cards, quilt squares…so I put my software from my old computer on this one and it is working great. I almost have it all set up. I will glad when it is all set up and we can get this room back to normal, it is a mess right now.
We did get the house all decorated for Christmas. The lights are up outside and the tree and decorations are up inside. I got most of the housework done yesterday since we were decorating, so today I will just need to do laundry and iron clothes. I will keep working on getting the computer set up too. We are going to church first though.
It is back to work and school for me and Joshua tomorrow. I have the pre-school decorated for Christmas too. The tree and lights are up. I have my newsletter typed also, I got that moved over to my new computer last night. Joshua helped me. He is a big helper. It has been a nice break.
The weather here has been beautiful! It has been near 70º everyday for the past several days. It is going to get cold again later this week, so we enjoy it while we have it.

Karl spent the night camped out at Circuit City for a computer, and when it was time to hand out the vouchers for the computers, a lady in front of him took the last voucher for the computer we wanted. She did not even want a PC, she was wanting a laptop, so Karl left to try to get to another store…as he was leaving the guys in front of him said the she was giving the voucher away, and they tried to get it, but she would not give it to them. Anyway, Karl got us a new computer from Wal~Mart. It is a Compaq Presario with Windows XP Media Center. It is nice and I see now that our old computer was completely out of date. I have been getting the software all updated and my e-mail addresses moved over, so I have been busy today. We will get a new monitor eventually for our other computer and give it to Joshua. Karl was also able to get a Portable DVD player for our van and a DVD Recorder so we can tape the movies we have taped on our DVR.
I just wanted to let you all know we got our new computer, but I am not sure how long we will be getting it set up. Have a great weekend!!

My Thanksgiving Vacation started yesterday at noon. I had to get up today though and get Joshua off to school. They are having school until noon today. My parents will be here around 12:30 to pick up Joshua and they are going to a concert in Branson. He will be spending the night with them too and we will be going to my parents house tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner. I will get up early and go down to help cook.
I will be by to visit today. I will be on and off the computer though as I have a lot of people to visit. Have a great day!!

The Thanksgiving Feast went very well at the pre-school. We all ate and ate and the food was wonderful. We had lots of food and the kids loved it. I have a half day of school tomorrow and then I get to come home. I have started decorating the pre-school for Christmas. It will take a while. I have not put up the Christmas Tree, I will do that over Thanksgiving so when the kids come back it will be there then. I am ready for a break. The kids need one too, it seems like they are all sick and I am not sure why some of them are at school. I feel sorry for them. They are so tired. The break will be good for them.
Joshua has school all day today and then a half day on Wednesday. Then after school he will go with my parents to see a concert in Branson and he is also staying the night.
I will try to make it around to visit tomorrow after school. Have a nice week.
