I had a busy week, so I was not able to post here at my blog. We walked everyday after school and I also had to get my end of the month paperwork done as well as my newsletter. It was so nice here, we played outside almost everyday after I finished walking. It was great. Then we watched our tv shows and tried to relax.
We watched the St. Louis Cardinals play a baseball game on tv last night. They will have their opening day tomorrow!! I am so happy baseball season is here!! There is a baseball game on today too…the Civil Rights Game, so we will watch that.
Joshua spent the night with my parents and will be home late this afternoon. Have a great weekend!!

Joshua had Terra Nova testing this week. The poor little guy. It was all part of the “No Child Left Behind” . He was so nervous he threw up the first day, but he was fine everyday after that. There is so much pressure on these kids and so many tests. They just had the Quarterly testing two weeks ago and now this. I am so glad it is over. The MAP testing will be the next 2 weeks, but he is still too young to have to take that test. I also got Joshua’s Spring Pictures this week. They had some black and white pictures in this package. I just love them. I will try and get one of his pictures scanned tomorrow.
Karl got our lawn mowed and it looks so nice. We have been getting so much rain and the grass is really growing. He also got it treated for weeds and bugs.
The weather was warm this week. I had shorts on everyday after school this week for walking.

We went to church and just relaxed and watched tv yesterday. I go back to work today, so I will probably not be by to visit until the weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Karl and Joshua went to a college baseball game yesterday and it was so warm (80ºF), so I went and laid out in the sun. I didn’t get much of a tan, but hey, I have to start somewhere. It was so relaxing.
Today we are going to church and we will watch a Spring training game of the St. Louis Cardinals when we get home. I also have to clean house and get ready to go back to work. It has been fun being off and playing online and visiting everyone. Have a great day!!

~Spring Break~

By the way…
Do you have any fond memories of spring breaks gone by? not really, I just enjoy relaxing and doing what I want.

We got some more rain yesterday. My tulips are getting buds on them now. I am so excited. My Lilac bush is green too, so it will bloom soon as well.
I know why I haven’t gotten much done this week. I have been updating webpages. I have my Index page decorated for Spring and I have added all of my goodies for my Spring and Easter pages. I also put up more links over on the left for you to navigate my pages instead of going to my website. I want to get rid of that page, but I have had it for so long, it is hard for me to just delete it.
We got Chris Daughtry’s CD last night. I love it. We also have Taylor Hick’s CD, I like it too. Those are guys off of American Idol last year if you are not an American Idol fan.
I have been watching Oprah this week too. Oprah and her friend Gayle have been travelling across America and it has been fun to watch this week.

The weather here has been so nice. It was sunny and 78º yesterday, so we were able to walk again. We walked 4 days this week. We are not walking today, Tina is going out of town for the weekend.
I did laundry yesterday. I need to wash the rugs today. I also got the house decorated for Easter. I feel like I haven’t accomplished much this week, but oh well, I have done a few things. I am on break afterall.
Many people in the neighborhood have been mowing. We need to mow too, the rain we did get has made the grass so green and it has grown a lot. I will be by to visit soon!! Have a great Friday!!

So Sanjaya stays on American Idol. I think it is so sad that the good singers have to leave while bad ones stay. He wasn’t even in the bottom 3 for goodness sake.
Tina and I walked yesterday, so we got our three days in this week, we will walk today too if it isn’t raining. They have been saying rain all week, but it hasn’t been too bad and it has been warm. I wore shorts yesterday when we walked. It was close to 80º. We were both afraid we would not get much walking in this week and it looks like we may get even more walking in than normal. That is great!!
I got my sweaters put away yesterday in my closet. I figure I will not need too many sweaters anymore. I have a few down still for those colds days though. I also had Joshua try on his jeans and shorts to see what kind of clothes he is needing for Spring. He is needing jean shorts.
