I chatted on the phone with my friend Adriane yesterday and Joshua and I took Karl for a big ice-cream Sundae last night for his birthday. It never did rain, so he had to stay at work.
I need to possibly clean house a little today. I got my paper done for school, so I can relax as far as homework. I do need to read over my notes for class, but that will not take long.
I will be by to visit today. Have a nice weekend!! This was a fun Saturday Special Toni!! I am not a very creative writer, but I am looking forward to reading everyone else’s respones.

~Creative Adventure~

Thought I’d try something new using a very old formula from the 1980’s PC adventure text games. Come on, let’s see how creative you are….Fill in the blanks ;-}

1. While in a forest, you see a cabin ahead, you go up to the window and peek in.
2. In the cabin you find a large chest, you try to open it and see what is inside.
3. Suddenly you hear a noise coming from the outside, you try to run and hide.
4. The adventure over, you leave the cabin and take the large chest full of money with me!!

It was a really busy day yesterday and a busy week. I went to a teacher’s conference on Autism, it was really good. Then I went to my classes. I left home at 8AM and got home around 8PM. Anyway, I was dreading going to my Math class because we had taken a test on Tuesday, but I got it back and I got an 87%!! I just stared at it for a while, I couldn’t believe it. I am so glad. I am not good at math at all. I had a test in my other class on Monday, but we still have not gotten that test back. It will be Monday before I know how I did.
I need to finish up my paper for my Fundamentals of Special Education today. I am almost done, I just need to finish typing it up. That class is almost over, I will have my Final on August 5th. Then the next week I will start my other class. I will kind of miss going to this class, I really like my teacher, she is so interesting to listen to.
Today is Karl’s Birthday!! I kind of hope it rains today so he can come home from work and be off for his birthday.
I just plan to rest for a while and I will be by to visit blogs. Have a great day!!

It has been crazy the past several days. I have been studying for tests. They are over now, so I have a little time to post. I do need to write a paper though, it is due next week. I have it started, but I need to get it typed up. I think I will work on it tomorrow for a little while and then I will have Friday and the weekend to finish it up.
I am going to a conference on Autism Thursday Morning. It is a conference that our Director at the pre-school wanted everyone to go to, but it was full. My Fundamentals of Special Ed teacher is letting our class go, so I am going to go and take notes. I am excited, I think it will be really interesting. I think my teacher is going to discuss it in class too, so I will have a lot of information to share with my co-workers.
The week is going by fast because I have been so busy. I hope you are all having a nice week!!

We all had a really good time last night. We went to Lambert’s, I mentioned that restaurant in a post a month or so ago, they throw rolls to you. It is a lot of fun. Tammy, Adriane and I sat at a table and Karl, her husband Jeff and the kids sat at another table. They were really busy, there was an hour and 15 minute wait. Then we went to Adriane’s house and visited for a while. It was good to see them.
Today we are going to church and then to get some groceries. My parents are picking up Joshua later this afternoon and then I have to study some. Have a nice week!!

Well, I got the house cleaned and I did a little studying yesterday, but not much. I need to study more today and then this afternoon Joshua and I are going to meet Tammy and Adriane for dinner and then I think we are going to Adriane’s house to visit for a little while. Karl is doing more fence building today for the church and then he is going to a baseball game.

1. What’s the oddest thing you’ve ever returned?: some little toys for the Santa Shop at Joshua’s school.
2. Do you return things you don’t like or just keep them?: I do not like to return things, so I keep them. I do not buy things I do not like though and I like anything I ever get as a gift.
3. What’s the largest item you’ve ever returned?: cannot remember
4. Have you ever returned a dress/outfit you wore to a special occasion?: no way.

I am glad it is Friday. I need a break from classes. It makes a long week being at the college all day everyday. That is why I enjoy Wednesdays, I do not have my Math class and I actually get to come home a little earlier than normal. I need to study some today and call my friend Adriane. We are going to dinner tomorrow night with Tammy. Some of you will remember when I babysat Tammy’s daughter Sofie before they moved? Well they moved to Jefferson City a couple of years ago and they will be in town to visit this weekend. Tammy was also Joshua’s pre-school teacher…I am doing her old job. She is teaching Kindergarten now.
There is a man coming to visit tonight about insurance or something…Karl signed up for through his work. I guess I need to clean house a little bit.
I also will be by to visit blogs. I will do that first before I start any other reading for school.

Today I just have my Fundamentals of Special Education Class and no Math at night. I am so happy, that math class drives me nuts. I do not care for Math.
I need to do laundry when I get home from class, which will be around 4:30PM and then I need to study a little bit for my test in Special Ed on Monday. I am outlining my notes right now. I need to finish that and start memorizing stuff. I have a good teacher for that class, she gives us little quizzes now and then to let us see how we are doing. They are not to turn in, just to study. She has us fill them out as if it were a test and then we go over it. She gives us points for doing it, but it is not graded or anything. We fix any answers we get wrong and we have another study guide. This is only a 4 week class, I will miss going to that one. I do have one in July I think I will enjoy as well though, Literature for Children. I have read most of my books for that class, so hopefully I can keep up. It will go fast too being a 4 week class. Math will go on and on and on and on.The Final for it is August 2nd.
That is about all I know about that is going on. Joshua is home and Mandy is doing well, she has both ears up, but I haven’t had time to take a picture. Have a great day!!
