I had a really good week. We got a lot of things done at the pre-school as far as lesson planning and I was able to get another child tested for the pre-school. We will start having more kids soon. I am ready. It is hard when there are not many kids there. It makes the day go by so slow. The kids all have to be screened and evaluations must be done before we can get them started in classes. It seems to take forever to get them to me because I am so impatient. I am excited for the kids to start.
Today we had a staff meeting and I was able to get home by 2:30 or so. It was such a pretty day here. It was sunny and 82º with a breeze and low humidity. I think it is supposed to be like that all weekend. It will feel great. I am excited for the holiday weekend too. I do not need to get away from work or anything, I am just sleepy.
Joshua is spending the night with my dad, so maybe I can sleep in tomorrow. I decided not to give Mandy her bath today because it is a little cool out, so I will do that tomorrow during the day when it is warmer.
I do have an assignment to work on for my online computer class, I may work on that a little over these next few days. I will visit soon!! Have a nice holiday weekend!!

I had a very productive day today at the pre-school. I was able to get a lot of paperwork done and I got my lesson plans started. I need to sit down and get the themes written for the year so we will know what we are planning when it comes time to make the plans. I did get some lesson plans finished for the weeks ahead. I will work on that some more tomorrow. I was also able to get some notes out to the parents. I feel better now. I had a hard time last week getting motivated to do anything besides play with the kids and work on their goals. I still need to do those things, but there are so many other things to do too.
I just wanted to pop in and say hi and that the week is off to a good start. I also walked today with my friend Tina. We plan to walk again tomorrow. Have a nice week!!

We watched some movies yesterday, we have a free preview of Starz on the sattellite. We watched Fun with Dick and Jane with Jim Carrey and we saw Facing the Gaints. Fun with Dick and Jane had funny spots, but it was kind of dumb. I really enjoyed Facing the Giants and as a Christian I just sat there and cried. It is a true story about a football coach at a Christian high school. The Lord moves His hand in a mighty way in that school and it happened in real life, so I found myself crying at everything that was going on. It was an awesome movie. If you haven’t seen it, it is worth watching. I watched the St. Louis Cardinal game last night and I also got some homework done. I have a big project coming up in that class..it is the computer class. I wanted to get my reading out of the way so I can focus on what to do my project on.
Today we are going to church and then we need to get some groceries. I have to do laundry when we get home and I need to iron some clothes. Mandy will have to have another bath. She had an accident in her crate last night. She almost never does that, but she has it in her fur and she is stinky. Poor girl.

My week was good but busy. Monday Joshua and I had to go to the dentist and have some dental work done, he had a cavity to get fixed and I had to get a crown. Then we went to the eye doctor for Joshua’s yearly eye exam. Everything went fine. Tuesday Joshua had meet the teacher night at his school. We took over his books and got everything set up in his desk and talked to his teacher for a minute and then we came back home. We had nothing going on Wednesday. Joshua was with me Mon-Wed at the pre-school and he played with the kids and helped a lot. The kids missed him when he went back to school. Joshua started school on Thursday. I started my college classes on Monday too. I found out I have a friend from Summer school in my classes with me, so since it is online we are going to be class buddies and help each other as much as possible. I was so happy when I saw she was in the class. Things are fine at the pre-school. The week seemed really long now that I am writing about it. It seemed like we were at the dentist forever ago…LOL!! I got a haircut on Wednesday too, I had 4 inches cut off the back, it is at my shoulders now. It had gotten really long. I cleaned house on Thursday and gave mandy her bath, so I am going to sleep in and I need to read some for my class. I think that is about it. Have a nice weekend!!

Joshua and I made it through our dentist appointments fine and he did great at his eye appointment too. He does not need a change in his glasses, so that is good news.
My college class starts today, the computer class, and I have my homework done for the week, so I am going to start reading for next week. We have several projects to do in there, I hope I have plenty of time to work on them. That is why I am trying to keep up with my reading.
It rained today some more. We need the rain so bad. It was nice to have it and it cooled things down a bit. The grass will probably turn green again now and need to be mowed soon.

Today we are going to church and I will do my laundry and get my clothes ready for the work week today too.
Joshua had fun at the birthday party yesterday and then later I took him shopping with me. I got two new shirts and a pair of shorts. I was in a hurry, the store was about to close or I would have taken longer and tried to pick out more things.
I have my car, but it was much worse that they thought it would be. They fixed a few things, but I still need a new radiator. That will cost a lot, so we will have to take it back in a few weeks. My car is 10 years old, we bought it brand new and we have never had to have any major repairs to it. It seems like everything is falling apart now. I hope once we fix these things it will be ok for a few more years until we can afford to get a different car.
Joshua and I go to the dentist Monday again,. he has one more cavity to get fixed and I have to get the crown put on mine. Joshua also has a eye appointment after the dentist appointment. Then Tuesday Joshua has Orientation at his school, we basically take his school supplies to his room and meet his teacher. Joshua starts school on Thursday, and he will go to the pre-school with me Mon-Wed.
My college classes start up Monday too, so I am not sure that I will be able to post again until next weekend, so have a nice week!!

We had a good week at the pre-school. We will be getting a new child starting on Monday and I need to get some testing done so some more kids can come too. We do not have many kids right now, but that is normal for our pre-school, the kids will filter in during the next couple of months.
My car is back in the shop. When we picked it up last week the check engine light was still on, I just thought maybe it needed to be reset, but it is cutting out, so it is back in there, Karl thinks maybe it is the fuel injection line or something. They will call tomorrow to let us know.
Karl is working today for a while and then he will be home around 1:00. Joshua has a birthday party at 2:00 and we will have to see about my car too. It will be a busy weekend.
It was over 100º all week, I am so tired, I have not been sleeping well. The weather is supposed to be better starting today with chances of rain. The grass is dead too from the heat. I have a lot of cleaning to get done, but I will probably wait until tomorrow to do that. Have a nice day!!
