Happy Halloween!! Today we have our class parties and Joshua also has his. I made treat bags for Joshua’s class and the pre-school kids as well. I am knee deep in homework and work stuff too. I need to write my class newsletter and I have a hair appointment on Thursday. I will be back this weekend and check in again.
Mandy is doing much better since her surgery, but she will probably not get to go trick-or-treating with Joshua. We had planned to take her, but she still has stitches. Maybe next year.
Joshua will be going trick-or-treating tonight and also to our church fall party. Karl is taking him. I will probably stay home and hand out candy and read (homework) or write papers. Have a great day!!!

Today we are going to church and we need to drop back by Wal~Mart for a couple of things that will not take long. I need to clean house and do laundry, then we have our Life Group…(a small church Bible study group) later this evening. It is going to be a busy week with classes and Halloween too. I bet it goes fast. I am excited for Thanksgiving break to get here, just a few more weeks!! I am ready for some days off.

I cannot believe how busy I get. I go to work, come home, help Joshua with his homework and then do my homework, eat dinner in there somewhere and do a little housework, by then it is time to start getting ready for bed. I have my night class Monday night and it has homework now too, so I have been a little stressed with all of it. I will make it through. I will only take one class next semester, and I think I need to remember that one class needs to be my limit, I have two this semester and with everything else I have going on, I can barely keep up.
We also had parent Teacher conferences this week for Joshua. That went well. Joshua has had some trouble with school and I felt so much better after this meeting.
Mandy had her little girl surgery (spay) on Friday. She was pretty sick last night and tired from anesthesia, so we all just had a quiet evening last night and watched over her. Mandy slept in her bed right next to my bed last night and she did real good. She is feeling much better today or acts better anyway, I am sure she is sore. I bought her a new toy. She loves it.
We went shopping at Wal~Mart this morning and then we had to pick up some medicine. There is a store next to the pharmacy I stopped in and picked up Joshua some clothes. I cleaned out his closet one night this week and he has grown out of a lot of his clothes, so I just wanted to pick some things up for him.
I am not feeling back to my old self. I have a horrible cough still. I am getting my voice back though, so that is good. I have been hoarse for about 2 weeks.
That is about all that happened this week. I need to write a newsletter for November for the pre-school and get everything ready (treat bags, etc.) for the Fall/Halloween party at the pre-school. I also need to get my homework typed up and ready to turn in on Monday morning. I am going to get off of here and rest a little first though. Have a nice weekend!

My class went ok on Monday, it is kind of boring, but hopefully it will get better. We only meet a couple of times, so it doesn’t really matter. I have started getting ready to register for classes for next semester. I will be taking one class, but it is a 4 hour class. I will let you know if it all works out. I hope I can get into it. I actually cannot enroll until after Thanksgiving, but I am getting my paperwork done. The class is at another college and I had to send my transcript and all of that fun stuff. The University I attend now cannot accomodate my schedule, so they are letting me take some classes at another school. I think this is usually not allowed. I am lucky they are letting me do this.
We had tornados the other night, but they were all north and east of us, so we were safe and I slept through the night.
I have been very busy this week doing homework. I had to make a website for my classroom for my technology class. I think it is ugly…I had to use this certain website and use a template, but oh well. Joshua stayed the night with my parents and he will be back home later this afternoon. I just plan to rest today…I am still coughing… and give Mandy a bath. I did not make it back to work on Monday. I took another day off, I was so tired and still had a headache. I went back to work on Tuesday, but I still have a bad cough. I have medicine for it though. I feel so much better now.
The week went by so fast, it was like a blur. I am ready to get some more rest now that the weekend is here though. I do have a lot of housework to do, but I will get it all done.
Joshua is camping with Karl’s parents this weekend, so I can sleep in and get the housework done without him following me around. He will be back on Sunday.
My mom called this week and my dad has a blood clot in his leg. He is going for shots to dissolve it. He will do that for a week and I guess they will check it again after that. Please say a prayer for him if you think about it. I would appreciate it.
Joshua is having some trouble at school. They say his reading has really declined and they even suggested putting him back in 2nd grade. I told them no, that they needed to get him help and get him back to where he was last year. They haven’t done anything to help him and they seem to have the attitude that he will fail this year no matter what. I want his teacher changed. Karl wants to wait and see if anything changes. She told Joshua and later she told me on the phone Joshua was failing everything…he isn’t though. He told me it made him feel like a failure. I kind of think he has the attitude of why even try for her, she said I cannot do it. Anyway, enough of my rants.
There is a lot going on here. I start my second college class on Monday, so I will have my computer class, I am making an A in there so far and I will start Intro To Teaching on Monday.

I have been so sick this week. I worked Monday and Tuesday and then I took the rest of the week off. I have the flu, I am still not feeling well. I also have a cough, which is mostly what is leftover at this point. I am trying to eat solid foods. Many of the kids at the pre-school are sick too. I hope next week is better.
Joshua lost one of his top teeth finally. He is so slow to lose teeth.
I had a Synchronous Discussion for my online class this week. That was hard. I was sitting here sweating because of my fever just wanting to go back to bed and I had this assignment to do. It took about an hour. It was not hard, it was just hard on me. I have to study for my Mid-Term today and take it soon. I have until Monday night.
