Today we are going to church. I need to get the house straightened back up and get the laundry done for the work week. I only have 3 weeks of work before Christmas Break!! I am so excited. We have Life Groups tonight…those are the Sunday school classes for church. This is the last one until January because people are so busy during the holidays. Today we will just relax. We will watch a football game this evening. It is the Mizzou vs. Kansas game and hopefully it will be a good game.
We got a little snow this morning and Mandy had fun playing in it, but it has melted now. She is loving the Christmas tree and Christmas lights too, she cracks me up.
My car has been in the shop again, this time for the radiator, but Karl’s dad had a friend that works on radiator’s, so he fixed it for us cheap. It is running good now. We picked the car up last night.
Karl is out shopping again this morning. I wanted to go shopping yesterday, but he said we should wait until he gets his vacation check in a couple of weeks before we spend anymore money. I guess it is ok for him to shop and not for me..LOL!! We have a lot of the Christmas shopping done. I got some of Joshua’s online and Karl picked some things up while shopping and he got presents for all of our nephews too. I have a list for Mandy still to get.
We are enjoying the new tv, it is an Olevia 32 inch LCD HDTV. This is our first HDTV and like when we got the new computer last year, we have been missing out on a lot of stuff. We love it. I watched the dog show on it last night. I was mad they did not show the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, so I watched her online. The one in the dog show looks like Mandy’s sister Linda (with the red hair). Mandy is tri-color (black/white/tan). I am hunting calendars of Corgi’s too. I want one and so does Joshua, and they must have tri-color corgi’s.

We had a nice Thanksgiving and we were able to get a lot done. I have some more things I need to do today. I need to change the sheets and wash the dirty ones. I want the housework out of the way. We did most of it yesterday, but there are a few little things left to do.
I also need to start decorating here at my blog and get my tags changed. Maybe I can start working on Winter pages today also. I didn’t think I would be able to do any of these things because I thought I would have to work on my Final, but it is done. See my post from yesterday.
Well, even though it is just this and that kind of stuff, it will keep me busy today, so I had better get started. Have a great day and I will be by to visit soon.

We had a change in plans. We did not go to Oklahoma afterall. My dad has been having trouble with his leg. he has a blood clot in it. I think I posted about that several weeks ago. He is doing ok, just has pain. Anyway, we stayed home. We did not do the traditional dinner at home either, we decided to go to Ryan’s for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was actually really good. I was able to get so much done today. Karl went to K-Mart and got a new tv. He got that set up. We watched the Macy’s parade…well some of it and I taped the dog show that was on after the parade. We also watched part of the football game. I did laundry. I got the house decorated for Christmas and the house is cleaned up too. You are not going to believe this, but I also got my Final done, it is a Powerpoint Presentation. It is ready to turn in…well almost. I had to send it to a girl in the class for a peer review and then I have to write about what she says and then I am done. It is not due until December 3rd, so I feel so good that I have that out of the way. I was also able to read blogs!! It was good checking in you you all!! I have some more things I want to get done online tomorrow too. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Joshua is doing great with his new teacher. He is back to making good grades and he seems so happy again. He likes to go to school again, which is wonderful. It has only been a week, but hopefully this teacher will be good for him and he can learn from her better.
I am caught up with homework, so I plan to work on my Final for my computer class. It is a Power Point Presentation and it has to have a lot of things in it. The teacher deducts points if things are missing. It is worth 185 points.
We are putting together a Thanksgiving Feast for the pre-schoolers on Monday. I am making a turkey and bring hot rolls and my assistant is bringing mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie. We will have other goodies too, the parents are dropping off some things for us to make also, veggies, etc. It will be fun. We do not have kids on Tuesday, just a half day workday and we are off the rest of the week.
We are going to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving on Thursday, we will drive down that morning and come back home the same day. It is at my Uncle’s house, so we will visit with Granie a while and then come back home.
I think Karl plans to hit the Black Friday sales on Friday morning also. We talked about getting an HDTV, so we will see. I will let you know what he ends up with. It will be a busy week.

It has been a fast week. I got 4 new students this week. They are all adorable and I am glad they are there. It feels more like a classroom now, we only had a few students up until now. It makes the time go faster and so the week is faster too.
Joshua and his teacher situation finally got Karl mad and Joshua will be changing teachers on Monday. She has accused him of lying and cheating and she is so negative. I told the Principal I was done with her in September, but Karl wanted to give her a chance. She should not be teaching and now Joshua can finally get away from her.
I am absolutely swamped with homework. I need to type two papers and then work on my Final for my technology class. I cannot get into that at all. I am worried I will not get it done. I am going to try and work on it some today. I will be working on it over Thanksgiving Break, which is when I had planned to catch up on reading blogs. I will say this. My classes are over beginning of December, so I will catch up then. I only plan to take one class next semester, so hopefully I will not be so busy.
Mandy is doing great after her surgery. Did I tell you we were having trouble with fleas on her? Well, I changed her flea medicine to Revolution, I was using Frontline Plus, but it didn’t work for her at all. The fleas are all gone. I am so happy. We had a freeze the other day too, so hopefully that killed the outside fleas.
I am still not feeling the very best in the world. I have the cough and congestion. My pre-school kids all have it too. It just hangs on.

I am home today. I just cannot get over this cold. I stayed in bed all weekend and I was going to go to the doctor today, but I actually started feeling better last night. I wanted to take one more day off though and just rest. I have 3 and possibly 4 new students starting school this week. I know 3 will be starting tomorrow, so I will need to be back to work then and I want to be rested.
Mandy got her stitches out today from her little girl surgery. My MIL took her to the vet with Mandy’s sister Linda and they got their stitches out this morning. I gave Mandy a bath when she got home and I am letting her run outside right now to dry. It is warm here today, but a cold front has moved through and it is going to be very cold tomorrow and later this evening.
I just wanted to check in and let you know I am doing ok. Joshua had a fun halloween and Mandy was able to wear her costume after all. Mandy was so mad. I got a picture of them, but no time to get it posted.
We have to do a PowerPoint presentation for our final in my computer class. I have no idea what I am doing, but I have one slide started. Maybe I can get that one done today. I have to have a minimun of 20 slides in my presentation. I had better get off here. Have a nice week!!
