It has been a while since I have updated, but Josh had a great time in Bristol, TN at the Nascar races and I had a nice Spring Break too. Josh got back home this past Tuesday, so he went back to school on Wednesday. I went back on Monday, but my college was on Spring Break, so I didn’t have classes. I got a lot of homework done during Spring Break. I read two books (children’s books) over the break for my class. I read The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and Bridge to Terabithia. If you have not read Edward Tulane, you need to. I think most people have heard of Bridge to Terabithia, read it or seen the movie, it is a good book too,.
It was a crazy Spring Break. I went to visit my parents to help them clean up their house a little. The first day we got some things moved, but the second day my dad was not feeling well, so I came back home. My mom called the next day and my dad was in the hospital. He had a pulmonary embolism. He had a blood clot in his leg about a year ago, and the doctor took him off his blood thinning medication after about 6 months. The hospital thinks this same clot went into his lung. Anyway, he got out of the hospital on Tuesday evening. He was in there about a week. He is stiff and sore, but he is home. The clot is still there. Hopefully it will dissolve and not be a problem.
We have been watching Mizzou play basketball in the NCAA Tournament. They have been doing good. They play again tonight.
Josh is still doing well at Sylvan. He is making a lot of progress and I can tell at home. He is asking what words mean as well as looking up words in his dictionary.
I guess that is about all. I have my house decorated for Easter. :easter1:
Karl is still working for now and I have my job too. It is a hard time for all right now. We feel very blessed to have jobs. Have a nice week. Oh and by the way, I registered for my summer classes, and they will be over early July, so I will have some time off, I will be able to visit and such for several weeks. :easter2:

Spring Break is here! Josh spent the night with Karl’s parents last night and they left for Bristol, TN early this morning. They will spend the week down there and have fun, then their race is on Sunday.
I am going to visit my parents today. I hardly ever get to see them. I am constantly going with work and college. I will visit for a while and then I have night class tonight. I plan to go back to visit again tomorrow.
I will do some homework this week and I need to clean house. Have a nice week!! :patty: :patty2:

Well, I am feeling better now. I went back to work last week and I did fine. It is a busy time. We have a lot of meetings for our kiddos last week and this week to get done. I also have to do progress reports and we are starting a fundraiser. We are getting ready to expand our playground.
Josh is doing good. He is getting excited. He is going to Bristol, TN for the Nascar race with Karl’s parents. He will go over Spring Break. My Spring Break is the same as his. We go to school this week and Spring Break is the next week. I am ready.
The weather has been nice…in the 70’s and 80’s. Josh and Mandy have been playing and having so much fun.
I register for Summer classes this Wednesday. The classes I am taking are only 4 weeks, so they will go through June and I will be done. It is 2 classes, they are both finished end of June, so I will have July off, I am excited about that. :patty2:
