I enjoyed visiting all of you very much. I will be making regular daily visits again in July. In the meantime, I am glad to catch up with everyone. I think I have everyone’s links updated that moved their blogs. I also updated my dates to remember over in the right column and put in the begin and end dates for my summer class. When that summer class ends I will be able to blog more.
I was able to take Mandy for a walk, fill the bird feeders and I talked to my friend Adriane on the phone last night. I got a few things done.
Karl called several times from the baseball game and they were having fun, but I will have to post about it more another time, they will not get home until really late.
We will not be going to church today so they can sleep in. It is suposed to be sunny and warm today…in the upper 80’s maybe 90. I need to do laundry and housework. Have a nice day!!

Josh started Summer School on Thursday. I think it will be fun for him, but he didn’t want to go. They are going to see “Night at the Museum 2″ for their field trip this next week and he also mentioned a trip to the zoo. I will start my practicum over at his school next week. This time my class is a reading class, so I will be working with the teacher learning to teach kids to read. I will work with the kids directly and read to the kids. It should be fun. I hope it will be fun anyway. I have been working this week to get my paperwork together for the practicum. I had to have a TB skin test done and had to have my MSTA (teacher insurance) copied for the college. I still need to get those copies to the college so they can put them in my file.
I have also been doing some end of the year things at the pre-school, I had to call the copy machine people and let them know how many copies we used this year so they could bill us and Karl and I went down and planted some grass under the tree on the playground. I hope it grows. I would have left it, but when it is wet the kids like to play in the mud. I do not care of they dig in the dirt, but sending kids home covered in mud is another story.
My tagboard has not been working for some time now, but I didn’t have time to fix it. I worked on it yesterday and I think it is fixed now. Let me know if you have any problems with it.
My new dishwasher came in on Thursday also!! I posted some pictures in yesterday’s post of it and my refrigerator and an updated picture of Mandy. I think she looks all grown up now.
Karl and Josh are gone to a KC Royals baseball game today, so I am going to try to visit blogs!! Yes, you read that right!! I am going to visit blogs. Look out, here I come!! Have a great day!!

I thought I would add a new picture of Mandy on here really quick.  It has been a long time since I have posted any pictures of her.  I will make a regular post tomorrow.  We also got a new dishwasher on Thursday, so I will add a picture of it and a picture of the refrigerator my Granie left for me when she passed.  They look nice together in the kitchen.

Josh and I are finished with school for a little while anyway. My last day was Thursday, it was a half day and that turned out to be Josh’s last day also. We got his report card, so I kept him home on Friday and we went to my college (MSU) to pick up books for Summer school and my parking pass. Then we went to the library and picked up some books for Josh to read.
We went to Lowe’s yesterday and picked out a new dishwasher. Our old dishwasher went out about 6 months ago. I am excited. It should be delivered late this coming up week.
Josh starts summer school on Thursday. I am going to be doing a reading practicum over at his school for one of my summer classes, so I figured why not put him in summer school. It is only for a few weeks. My class is also over beginning of July, so we will have a little time to relax and not worry about classes.
We got Mandy’s bath given to her, I clipped her nails and brused her. She looks so pretty.
I am working on the laundry, but I think I will clean house tomorrow. Happy Memorial Day!!!

Josh and I have only 2 weeks of school left. The time goes by so fast. I have been very busy doing end of the year paperwork… progress reports, marking IEP’s, etc. I would like to have those out to the parents at the end of this next week. We are also planning on our end of the year party. We usually have a small pool for the kids, but we have some really young kids and I feel it could be dangerous, so we are skipping that this year. We will cookout hotdogs and have ice cream do springklers, let them listen to music and have fun.
I was able to finally get a class for Fall. I was planning on taking two classes, but they are all closed. It is ok though, this may be for the best with the economy the way it is and Karl’s job. There is little work in construction right now, so we are not sure what he will be doing. The job he has been working at is finished and he says they have no more work. We will see. We pay for my classes out of pocket, so this may be all we can afford.
Mandy’s 2nd birthday was last Monday (4th)….that is our dog if you are new here at my blog.. We had fun shopping for her birthday presents…greenies, rawhides, nylanones and some bakery treats. We also got her a toy. She was happy. I have been trying to take some pictures of her. She looks a little different now that she is a little older. I think she is so pretty, but she is my baby. I need to save the pictures onto the computer and I will probably add them on facebook. I think most of you are at facebook.
We had tornadoes yesterday. We (the teachers) were hiding at the pre-school (8:15AM), the kids had not arrived yet. The power finally went out and now it was like 9:30AM…we called the bus driver and he had the kids over at the elementary school…these kids come over from another town. He ended up just taking them back home. We only had 2 kids at the pre-school yesterday. I am glad the parents kept them home so they were safe. The pre-school is not a good place to be during a tornado. The tornadoes had passed by noon. Josh’s school let out early because of the power being out. There were a lot of schools in the area that were damaged, that was so scary because there were kids in the schools. The pre-school and Josh’s school was not damaged at all though. Thank goodness.
