It is kind of crazy for me right now, but I thought I would make a quick update. Everything at the pre-school is going good. The kids are settling in really well and we are having a great time. Things at college are busy. I find myself doing homework constantly and reading, writing papers and just trying to keep up with everything. It is always hard in the fall because I take two classes. That is hard when I work full time and have a family, but I will be done eventually. Josh, Karl and Mandy are doing good. We are all hanging in there. Josh is doing well in school, Karl is still working and Mandy is wonderful. She can make me feel so good when I am stressed out. Anyway, that is about all that is going on. I stay pretty busy with work, classes and homework..oh and housework too. The weather here has been cool, but raining. I changed my theme to fall. Have a nice week. :hall1:

Happy Labor Day!! I haven’t been able to post much because I have been pretty busy with work and college. Everything is going good at the pre-school. We have been going to school for about 3 weeks now, so the kids are getting pretty settled in and used to our routine. I have several new kids, and that is always tough. I am not like a regualr classroom, I sometimes have my kids for up to 3 years…I have ages 3-5 and we keep them until they go to Kindergaten. Things are going good though. We have a pretty full classroom already, it will be interesting to see how many kids we get as the schoool year goes on. It is nice to have the kids that return because they know the routine.
My classes at the college are ok. I am taking a class called School and Society and a class called Nutrition. The Nutrition class is good. It is interesting and I really enjoy it. The other class….well not so much. It is ok. It isn’t awful.
We went to Karl’s sister’s house yesterday for a cookout. It was our nephew Dalton’s birthday, he turned 14. It was a lot of fun, but I was tired and ready to come home by the end of the evening. It was almost 9PM, and I had to ask Karl if we were spending the night…LOL!! He finally let us leave. There were still a lot of people there, but I had things to do today (Monday) I spent today doing laundry, cleaning house and writing a paper for the class I do not like very much. I did read a book this weekend for that same class. That is the one good thing about that class. He is having us read good books. A Child Called It, A Man Named Dave and The Lost Boy. All books about child abuse if you are not familiar with them. They are excellent. I actually wrote two papers this weekend for that class due next week.
Well, it is back to work tomorrow. I have a doctor’s appointment before my Nutrition class, so I will have to leave work a little early and go to that. It is just a check-up, no big deal. Have a nice short week!!
